Ember Tails Animal Rescue is a North Carolina nonprofit corporation (EIN on file). Our 501(c)(3) federal tax-exempt determination is currently pending with the IRS, so donations made now are not yet guaranteed tax-deductible; they may become retroactively deductible once our application is approved. We currently operate under North Carolina’s charitable solicitation exemption for organizations receiving less than $50,000 annually with no compensated officers, fundraisers, or solicitors.
